Acidizing

Acid treatments have been applied to wells in oil and gas bearing rock formations for many years. Acidizing is probably the most widely used work-over and stimulation practice in the oil and natural gas industry.  By dissolving acid soluble components within underground rock formations, or removing material at the wellbore face, the rate of flow of oil or natural gas out of production wells or the rate of flow of oil-displacing fluids into injection wells may be increased.

Premier has an extensive array of acidizing systems designed specifically for a well’s needs. They vary from emulsified, non-emulsified, iron controlled and foamed hydrochloric acids to mud clean-up, mud dispersants, anti-sludge, scale removal systems and linked aromatic acid dispersions. To control a variety of situations such as fines migration and iron re-precipitation, additives are also available.
